But what truly caught my eye was a six-year-old little girl, with the most gorgeous blonde curly hair, completely lost in her own world. She was ankle-deep in a mud puddle, squishing the icy mud between her toes, seemingly unbothered by the drizzle or the cold, damp ground. She was having the time of her life—proof that a little mud can be magical when you’re a child.
